If Jesus walked into your workplace, your gym, or your family WhatsApp group today, how would He act? Becoming like Him usually boils down to three massive shifts in how we live:
1. Shift from “Me-First” to “You-First”
Jesus was the ultimate disruptor of ego. In a world obsessed with climbing the ladder, status, and getting ours, Jesus washed dirty feet. Becoming like Him means asking, “How can I serve the person in front of me right now?”—even when that person is incredibly annoying.

2. Shift from Cancellation to Compassion
Look at who Jesus hung out with: the outcasts, the screw-ups, and the people society had written off. It’s easy to love people who agree with us. It’s Christ-like to love the people who don’t.
3. Shift from Anxiety to Anchor
Jesus slept through a literal shipwreck-level storm because His trust in the Father was absolute. Becoming like Christ means trading our chronic worry for a deep, unshakeable peace, knowing who holds the universe.
How Does It Actually Happen?
Here is the secret twist: You cannot force yourself to become like Christ through sheer willpower.
You become like Jesus by spending time with Jesus.
You catch His habits by reading His words.
You absorb His peace through prayer.
You mimic His grace by soaking in how much He has forgiven you.
May God continue to strengthen us to be established in this union of Christ in Jesus name.
