1. “Even in your abundance, rest on God.”
Abundance is a blessing, but it is also a spiritual test. When your bank account is full, your health is good, and your career is thriving, it is incredibly easy to develop a false sense of security.
- “Resting on God” during abundance means recognizing that your resources are not your source. Your job, your savings, and your talents are just channels; God is the Source. Resting on Him means your peace of mind comes from Who holds your future, not what is currently in your hands. It keeps you humble and insulated from the anxiety of losing your wealth.
2. “Don’t ever trust in your strength or wisdom… Follow HIS guidance.”
Human strength has a ceiling, and human wisdom is limited by what we can see in the present moment. God’s wisdom, however, sees around corners.
This isn’t telling you to be passive or helpless. It’s telling you not to make your own intellect your ultimate authority. 3. “Think, Plan, Act – to honour God”
This is the operational core of the message. It beautifully bridges faith and practical responsibility. God doesn’t do for us what He has empowered us to do for ourselves.
- Think: Use the mind God gave you. Analyze situations, learn, and reflect.
- Plan: God is a God of order. Structure your goals, manage your time, and budget your resources.
- Act: Faith without works is dead. You have to step out and execute.
- The Ultimate Filter: The anchor here is “…to honour God.” This shifts your motivation. You aren’t planning and acting just to build your own empire or look good to others. The ultimate goal of your excellence, your hard work, and your strategy is to reflect His light and bring glory to Him.
4. “Remember, JESUS is your LORD…HONOUR HIM !!”
The word “Lord” (Kyrios in the original Greek) means Master, Ruler, and Owner. It’s easy to accept Jesus as Savior (the one who saves us from our mistakes), but accepting Him as Lord means He has the final say over our lives, our businesses, our relationships, and our money.
Honoring Him as Lord means obedience. It means that when His word contradicts our personal desires, His word wins. The exclamation points are a reminder to live intentionally—making sure that our daily lifestyle matches the confession of our lips.
